Spanish Courts are allowed to apply the Law of the country relating to the nationality of foreigners wishing to get divorced in Spain.
Most divorces result in either party walking out of the matrimonila home and therefore the grounds for divorce would be abandonment, unless they left the home due to domestic violence.
