In a style befitting his multi-million pound pay packet, the Manchester United star took 13 of his friends and family on an all-expenses paid trip to the Spanish party island Ibiza
The footballer has hired a luxury villa set high in the hills, where he will spend four days celebrating his farewell to bachelorhood.
With the 22-year-old at Manchester Airport was the player's father Wayne Snr, 44, and his younger brothers Graham, 20, and John, 17.
Miss McLoughlin's father Tony, her uncle Sean McLoughlin - who is believed to be the best man - and her brother Stephen were also spotted in the crowd.
The stag party is also expected to include the boxer Ricky Hatton, the groom's Manchester United teammates Rio Ferdinand and John O'Shea, and the Liverpool players Steven Gerrard and Peter Crouch.
Mr Rooney is said to have told guests to leave their wallets at home, and reportedly expects to spend at least £10,000 a head during the trip.
Not to be outdone, Miss McLoughlin, 22, is heading off for her third hen do, treating her closest friends to a stay in the Canary Islands.
The couple will marry later this month at a villa in the Italian seaside resort of Santa Margherita Ligure and have reportedly signed a £2.5 million contract with a glossy magazine - the biggest wedding deal in history.
The 64 guests will be flown by private jet from the UK to the four-day celebrations, which will reportedly include a lunch aboard a luxury yacht, a masked ball and champagne breakfast every morning.
Spanish periodical the Olive Press published more details of England soccer hero Wayne Rooney’s upcoming stag weekend in Ibiza this week, suggesting the Manchester United superstar will be partying at both Pacha and Space.
The expat newspaper also revealed fanatical Man City fan and boxer Ricky Hatton will be accompanying Rooney and his Premier league pals on the trip and said the group will also be hanging out at ‘trendy lounge-bar/restaurant Aura’ in Ibiza Spain.
“Peter Crouch and his girlfriend Abby were here last summer, along with Jade Jagger, James Blunt and lots of other celebrities,” an Aura spokesperson said, Ibiza is going to be HOT this Summer.
“We are expecting them to spend a bit of time here. The VIPs love the laid back atmosphere, and because we have some great music they can hang out until the early hours undisturbed,” she added.
The love-him-or-hate-him football hero is likely to need privacy judging by a report in the Guardian this week, which revealed that he’s so admired in Russia that locals favoured Man United over Roman Abromovich’s Chelsea in this week’s European Cup Final.
“We like Wayne Rooney a lot in Russia,” local supporter Ruslan Matveev, 26, told the paper, “He's very popular. He looks like Shrek.”
Wayne’s uncanny resemblance to the cartoon giant has long been recognised by more perceptive England fans, earning him a reference in respected online slang reference source Urban Dictionary, who also note his chameleon like qualities.
“A highly talented, yet fowl tempered English footballer,” the Dictionary declares in its Wayne Rooney reference page, “As well as his football ability he also possesses the ability to look like both Shrek and a potato, yet potatoes and Shrek look nothing alike,” they add.
